Schools Re-open

Zimbabwean schools were scheduled to re-open February 7 after a COVID lockdown in January. However, teachers went on strike, protesting against salaries lower than USD200 a month. While the schools were closed the library was open and many children came to spend some time at the library.

In the last week of February a settlement was reached, and most schools are open again.
